INTERNATIONAL DANCE COMPETITION & FESTIVAL – 6th Edition!
The World of Dance will meet again in the beautiful city of Kalamata, from all over the world, in an extremely interesting event that combines Art, Sports, Gala, Competition, Workshops and an amazing Dance Weekend of thematic tourism.
All Ages – All Categories – Couples – Solo – Groups // OPEN TO THE WORLD – Amateur or professional dancers of all ages and all kind of dances can participate in the Multiple competitions event on Latin-Standard-(Ballroom), Oriental, Hip Hop, Break Dance, Commercial Heels, Dancehall, Reggaeton, K-Pop, Salsa-Bachata, Ballet, Modern-Contemporary, Folklore Dances, Acro Dance, Fit Dance, Jazz Funk, Musical, Argentine Tango, Cheerleaders, Greek dance, Showdance etc! Gala & Show Performances…
REGISTRATIONS
The official registration platform will be open until November 8, 2024. No entries will be accepted after this date.
- On the official platform of Contaste, you register personally, enter your data, and you can change, delete, or add information until the platform closes definitively. Attention! You also upload your songs on the same platform!
- In case you cannot find a category on the registration platform for any reason, contact the organization to add it (+306932426008).
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to merge categories if the required number of three entries per category is not met. The merging applies to all group and individual categories of beginners and advanced dancers, provided they belong to the same age group.
TYPES OF DANCE
The dance categories are divided into the following groups:
- Latin-Standard (includes all Latin and Ballroom, Argentine Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Latin Fit, and Showdance).
- Street Dance (includes Hip-Hop, Commercial, K-Pop, Break Dance, Dance Hall, Reggaeton, High Heels, Disco Dance, Street Dance Show, Cheerleading).
- Performing Arts (includes Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz/Lyrical, Modern-Acro Fit, Oriental, Tribal Fusion, Bollywood, Musical, Folk Dance, Flamenco, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Show Dance).
AGE DIVISION
Mini Kids: 2017 until today
Juveniles 1: 2015 – 2016
Juveniles 2: 2013 – 2014
Juniors 1: 2011 – 2012
Juniors 2: 2009 – 2010
Youth: 2006 – 2008
Adults: …2005
Seniors: 1988 and earlier
*The above age classifications only apply to the Latin & Ballroom categories. All other types of dance are divided into Mini Kids, Juveniles, Juniors, Youth, Adults, Seniors.
DURATION
SOLO & DUO up to 1:30 min.
TRIO up to 2:30 min.
SMALL GROUPS (3-11 people) up to 3:00 minutes.
LARGE GROUPS (11 people or more) up to 4:00 minutes.
EXCEPTIONS: SHOW DANCE. Songs and choreographies must have a strict duration:
a. SOLO SHOW up to 1:30 min.
b. DUO or COUPLE SHOW up to 2:00 minutes.
c. TRIO SHOW up to 2:30 minutes.
d. GROUP SHOW (Show group) up to 3:00 minutes.
In case of objection and proof of the opposite, the team will automatically move to the last place.
