A strong competition is planned for the year 2021 in the category Aerial Acrobatics of the 3rd Kalamata Dance Cup 2021. We invite you all to live a unique experience.
According to the temporary schedule, the participants of the Aerial category will compete on Sunday, November 14, 2021 in aerial silks, sling, (solo, duo), hoop/Lyra, Trapeze (men & women), in Solo, couples, group and Show Dance Challenge (Free choice).You can find the temporary schedule here.

️MUSIC DURATION:
2:00 – 3:30 min (Kids, Juveniles, Juniors)
3:00– 4:00 min (Young)

The judges scoring system is supported by the Corporation https://flymark.dance/ from Ukraine, with special touch tablets for the judges.
EQUIPMENT
Our specifications for Aerial class are as follows:
-2 sails 18m beginner and advanced 130g / m2
-1 sling 8m 150g/m²
-1 90cm diameter hoop, wrapped with cotton grip by Fire toys company with ISO specifications
-1 Trapeze
– The safety mattresses are 2 layers measuring 6m x 3m x 20cm Olympic specifications, by AAI (American Athletic Inc).

DRESS RULES
Regarding the dress rules, the head judge may disqualify a contestant while attending the program if their attire does not meet the requirements stated in the following regulations or is inconsistent with the “friendship-family” spirit of the event:
- The back side at the top of the attire cannot be less than the corresponding cover of a sports swimsuit, the side cover no lower than the pelvic bones and the front look to cover the bodice the least as much as a sports bra.
- Normal attire is understood by, however, it is at the discretion of the judges to reduce the score in the case of voluntary or involuntary disclosure of the private body parts of the contestant during the presentation.
- It is forbidden to use shoes other than specialized acrobat shoes.
- It is forbidden to remove part of the attire during the execution of the program.
