Returning to our dance reality is something we all ardently desire. But everyone’s safety is paramount! For this reason, the organizing committee of the 3rd Kalamata Dance Cup 2021 has taken into account all the existing provisions, according to which the International Dance Competition will take place, which we list below:
1. Occupacy
Participating athletes-dancers: all those who have completed their vaccination or have been ill in the last semester can participate in the competition, as well as people who provide a negative 48-hour diagnostic result (rapid test). These also apply to judges, coaches, school leaders, staff and volunteers who will be there.
Audience: People who have completed their vaccination or have been ill in the last semester will enter the competition as well as people who provide a negative diagnostic test result (rapid test) the occupancy rate is 50% in the stands (this means up to 325 people).
In addition, the following preventive measures will be taken for spectators in the stands:
* Mandatory creation of vacancy per 2 to 4 seated.
* Classification of persons coming together in seats between which no
mediates empty space/vacancy. People who have not come together should not
they are placed in places without a gap between them.
* Tables: Τhere will be, in addition, below, on the playing field, 10 tables of 6 people each with distance between them and from the parquet. The available seats at the tables will be 60 seated and only.
Each contestant must have completed the online registration form.
2. Entry procedure
When entering and leaving, queues with distances of 1.5 meters should be kept. The attendance flow will be coordinated by the relevant ushers. Contestants, judges and teachers will be required to enter from the locker room entrance, while spectators and contestants from the main entrance.
In addition, thermometry will be carried out and at the same time numbered papers will be distributed to everyone, in order to fully control the total number of people present. The cards will be disposable and different for each part of the competition. Also, if someone’s temperature is outside the permissible limit, they will not be able to enter the field of the competition and in this case there will be no refund (especially for the spectators).
Spectators, including minors from 12 years and older, enter upon mandatory demonstration upon entry:
[a] vaccination certificate
[B] disease certificate issued 30 days after the first positive test and its validity lasts up to 180 days after that
[C] result of the rapid detection of covid-19 coronavirus antigen (rapid test) Test, which should have been carried out within 48 hours before the start of the competition
All this combined with the demonstration of a police ID or driver’s license or passport or other proof of identity.
Underage spectators from 4 to 11 years old, provide a self-test declaration (self-test) last 24 hours, which is carried out by either a parent, even without custody, or a guardian. No physical presence of the parent or guardian is required.
3. Venues
Antiseptics will be placed in all areas of the stadium, which are proposed to be used by the attendees both at the entrance and at the exit.
The premises will be arranged so that there are no standing spectators, but only sitting.
Seats will be disinfected before and after each use.
After the end of each part of the competition, the spectators will gradually leave, according to the instructions of the ushers. In between there will be a small amount of time difference in order to ventilate and disinfect the room sufficiently.
The operation of the courtyard of the stadium and the canteen are allowed before and during the competition in order not to create overcrowding and spectators can be directed to it at different times during their stay. All necessary measures will be observed: distances of 1.5 meters in the queue, available antiseptics and there will be one-way flow to and from the canteen.
Regarding the changing rooms: change of clothes to be done only when absolutely necessary. In the event that space is not enough for everyone, these will be used in rotation. There is provision for use of additional spaces in addition to changing rooms for this purpose, if necessary. The contestants ‘ clothing and all their personal belongings should be kept sealed.
There will be a written post of the maximum number of people who must be within the competition venue.
4. Tickets
Spectators ‘ tickets will only be sold electronically, through Viva.gr and they will be checked contactlessly when they enter the competition. No trades will be made on the field on competition day.
5. Use of masks
Spectators, judges and employees of the event will be required to wear a protective mask throughout the competition. The same applies to contestants with the exception of the time they are on stage dancing.

It’s a small price to pay for such a big comeback! Safely and wisely we will finally be able to return after over a year of abstinence to the parquet we so missed. Rendez-vous at our beautiful Kalamata for a safe competition without stress, only with positive thoughts!
