ΔΕΛΤΙΟ ΤΥΠΟΥ:
To 3ο Kalamata Dance Cup (Φεστιβάλ & Διεθνής Διαγωνισμός Χορού) ξεκίνησε τις προετοιμασίες του για το Νοέμβριο του 2021 στη Καλαμάτα. Ο Διεθνής Πολιτιστικός θεσμός της πολύπλευρης διοργάνωσης χορού παγκόσμιας προβολής, μετά την περσινή του αναβολή, επιστρέφει δυναμικά και προγραμμάτισε να ανοίξει και πάλι τις ‘πόρτες’ του το Σαββατοκύριακο 13 & 14 Νοεμβρίου 2021 στο Δημοτικό Κλειστό ‘ΤΕΝΤΑ’ Καλαμάτας, με την ελπίδα πως μέχρι τότε θα έχει ομαλοποιηθεί η κατάσταση που διανύουμε και με την ευχή να επαναλειτουργήσουν σύντομα τα καλλιτεχνικά εκπαιδευτήρια.
Η Οργανωτική Επιτροπή του 3ου Kalamata Dance Cup, μέλη του Πολιτιστικού Συλλόγου ‘Dance Challenge’, σε συνεργασία με την POLISART Κοιν.Σ.Επ , θα εργαστούν και φέτος σκληρά με όρεξη, αφιλοκερδώς για την επίτευξη των στόχων του. Το Kalamata Dance Cup που προσελκύει πλήθος καλλιτεχνών και επισκεπτών από Πελοπόννησο, υπόλοιπη Ελλάδα και εξωτερικό στη Μεσσηνιακή πρωτεύουσα, στοχεύει στη διατήρηση & ενίσχυση διεθνώς του χαρακτηρισμού που προσδίδεται στην πόλη της Καλαμάτας ως πολιτιστική ‘Πόλη του Χορού’, στη γνωριμία με το Μεσσηνιακό τόπο και στην τόνωση της οικονομίας του προσδίδοντας γενική ανάπτυξη στην Περιφέρεια Πελοποννήσου.
To τριήμερο Φεστιβάλ χορού προβάλλεται ήδη στο visitgreece.gr του ΕΟΤ και σε πολλά άλλα κανάλια επικοινωνίας. Για το 2021 έχει στόχο να προβληθεί και σε περισσότερα αθηναϊκά & διεθνή ΜΜΕ. Στοχεύοντας στη διατήρηση συνεργειών και συνεργασιών της, η Οργανωτική Επιτροπή του 3KDC2021, αιτήθηκε εκ νέου αιγίδας και επιχορήγησης από το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού & Αθλητισμού, το Υπουργείο Τουρισμού και τον Ελληνικό Οργανισμό Τουρισμού (ΕΟΤ), όπως επέτυχε και τα προηγούμενα έτη. Επιπροσθέτως, θα έχει και την ουσιαστική στήριξη του Δήμου Καλαμάτας. Ευελπιστεί για φέτος και η Περιφέρεια Πελοποννήσου να ανταποκριθεί θετικά και να υποστηρίξει τη σπουδαία αυτή διοργάνωση πολιτισμού στο πλαίσιο ενίσχυσης του ‘Θεματικού Τουρισμού’.

A unique dance extravaganza in the beautiful coastal city of Kalamata, which inspires dancers of all ages and impresses the spectators.
The 3rd international Open Dance Competition in Kalamata will take place for a third consecutive year on November 13 & 14, 2021. The World of Dance will meet from all over the world , to convey messages, interact, grip the audience, communicate using its language – the body, and compete with fair play in an extremely interesting event that combines art, sports, Gala, Competition, Workshops and an escape Dance Weekend of thematic tourism.
All participants will have the chance to enjoy an amazing, dancing, leisure weekend break in the Messinian capital, which is only a couple of hours away from Athens.
Amateur or professional dancers of all ages and all kind of dances can participate in the Dance Competition and the Training Camp (Workshops in all styles of dance). Participants will be divided into categories according to the dance style and age (solo, couples, duets, or groups). They must fill out the official form of registration, that can be found at the end of September on the official website of the Event and claim distinctions or the Dance Cup in the ‘City of Dance’.
With great pleasure, the 3rd Kalamata Dance Cup 2021 will once again welcome dance groups and Performers, as well as famous dance personalities from the DanceSport Community and top couples champions of DanceSport, who will offer spectacular shows and performances to an art-loving audience that seeks the variety and diversity of any International renowned Competition Event and Dance Festival.
In a beautiful, ambient surrounding environment, with a perfect parquet dance floor of the highest standards and quality music, all dance lovers will show off their art in all styles of dance, unfold their talent and creativity in front of our art-loving public, and at the same time participate in the ‘Dance Challenge Championships’.
In addition to the competition, the two-day event of the 3rd Kalamata Dance Cup – Beyond The Limits, also includes a) workshops & masterclasses in various kinds of dance by specialized dance teachers & coaches, b) a unique Ceremony night (Gala) with special music and high quality dance performances of social, historical, and cultural type, c) the official presentation of the internationally renowned panel of judges, d) a parade of participating dancers and a unique show of professional dancers and top dance champions of the Greek and world danceSport community that enchants and impresses the spectators. The dance weekend will include parallel activities, such as guided tours to the old town of Kalamata and historical and tourist places of the city and the Prefecture, a bicycle ride from the cycling path of the city from the Castle of Kalamata to the old market and historical center, up to the coastal zone, as well as a small exhibition of local Messinian products or treats for the visitors to taste the Messinian flavors.
The 3rd Kalamata Dance Cup 2021 promises to offer another year of challenge and innovation, both in the range and variety of participants, as well as in its organization and artistic production. It aims to provide another beautiful experience with great hospitality for all participants, as well as for the art lover public that honors it with its presence.
The International Dance Competition ‘Kalamata Dance Cup’ is organized by the Cultural Association of Kalamata ‘Dance Challenge’ and ‘PolisArt’ Social Company of cultural events, with the support of the Municipality of Kalamata & the Messinian Chamber. It is under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Ministry of Tourism and the Greek Tourism Organization.
